Oh, definitely. Critical thinking is really the most important skill an editor could have. Also think it has applications for teaching you how to be a writing coach as it develops. ChatGPT is still very much a beta tool; the podcast I linked to said that people who've seen the next generation version of this tool are in awe of how much of a leap forward it is.
